Cayman Live

The day has finally arrived! The Imaging Foundation team is on the beautiful island of Grand Cayman to create their first virtual classroom. Join us daily as we work with enthusiastic third grade students in both Cayman and Wisconsin.

As a friendship grows between the two groups we will be teaching three subjects :

1. Turtle Life Cycle

2. Symbiosis

3. Caribbean Ecosystems

* All lessons are created to comply with Wisconsin curriculum. The state standards can be downloaded for future classes by any teacher.

We will also upload our progress to our nature database. Check back daily to see our progress.

Imaging Foundation team members came from around the world, from as far away as Argentina, to volunteer their time. The group will teach live lessons to third grade students in both Cayman and Ashland, Wisconsin.

The students will learn about turtle lifecyles, environmental solutions, symbiosis, and coral reef communities. The images captured during the expedition will also become available to other nonprofit organizations.

Each day the team works several hours on aspects of the project suited to their abilities and talents. Almost everyday brings an opportunity to dive with experienced divers and photographers in a remarkable part of the world.

Team Members Include:

Rick Scaletty, Ace Goerig, Dave Walker, Jackie Walker, Julio Ramos, John Monk, David Metzloff, Jennifer Schilling, Judy Schmidt, Ana Martin, Judy Bennett, Wanda Rowan, Melissa Martinez, Jay Ireland, Georgienne Bradley
