The Mission: Scouting The Waters of Palau - The Inhabitants of the Sea
Friday, March 2nd:

The journey begins from Charleston, SC, Seattle, Washington, Las Vegas, NV, San Francisco, CA, Santa Monica, CA, New Orleans, LA rendezvousing in Honolulu on to Guam and finally to Palau. For some, a twenty-four hour odyssey. It is now Saturday the 3rd and leaders and volunteers unite together and all but John's luggage arrives safely - sorry John.
Sunday, March 4th :
We board the Palau Aggressor late in the afternoon after a day of sun, sand, snorkeling and snoozing. We are met by Captain Mike and his worthy crew. After a briefing on boat safety and requirements, we enjoy our first meal aboard our vessel - our home for the week. Then after a great meal, Georgienne convenes an Imaging Foundation Orientation and shares its history, purpose and rationale and informs the volunteers of the mission of the week.
Intensely listening to all this, she informs us of a new web site that is about to be launched providing information and photo images to be shared and used as educational tools for non-profits, educators and students.
The objectives of the week are discussed and volunteer assignments are completed so we turn in, while the roll of the boat rocks us gently to sleep. And, oh yes, sometime during the night, John's luggage mysteriously arrives!
