 Saturday, March 10th :
The final, final! Yet again some fine tuning on the website and then the cleaning up and closing down the computer stations. I am sure the staff will be glad to get their table back and get the computers out of the way.
Okay, to Jelly fish Lake. A long hike up followed by a hike down and then repeated after our encounter with the Jellyfish. Now, these are MY best new friends. I enjoyed the close encounter of this kind and really did not want to leave the lake - especially since I knew the hike up across the summit and down again was waiting for me. But it was a glorious experience and worth the hike.

Our next experience was definitely the final, final -- Chandelier Caves. It was murky at the entrance but for those who made it they were rewarded by three chambers with stalactites and clean waters. A short and shallow dive is enjoyed, but it is a great way to say goodbye to Palau.

Now it's back to the Aggressor and time to organize our departure in the a.m. This week has been great for making new friends and diving, but more important to realize how beautiful the waters of Palau are and yet how fragile. We must all be stewards of our earth and do all we can to protect our oceans and those who inhabit them. I just cannot imagine a world without reefs and walls and yes even those sharks who hang out there and try their best to intimidate us.
